• Ooh exciting stuff! I don't know about you, but I love trying these boxes. Not only does it feel like Christmas opening the box, but there are so many new exciting products to try!

Pictured wearing: Illamasqua Glamour Lipstick (Naked), Magnifibres Brush-on False Lashes (between Maybelline the Falsies Volum' Express Black Drama), Rimmel Sun Shimmer BB Cream, Bourjois Cream Blush (Nude Velvet). Plus my usual eye make up of  Rimmel Glam Eyes 100 Glam Ice, Bourjois Smokey Eye Trio in 01 Gris Dandy and Collection 24 hour extreme felt tip liner. Hair: using the Toni & Guy Volume Plumping Whip.

The great thing about these boxes is that you get to try lots of products that you might not otherwise consider buying. Plus you save a fortune compared to if you purchased the products separately. Total bargain all for £16.95 (inc P&P)! That's definitely a win win situation, in my book. I have popped a link if you wanted to get hold of a box yourself*.

    My box contained:

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil - This is amazing at gently removing makeup. Even the really stubborn eye makeup. It leaves your face feeling wonderfully hydrated too.

Illamasqua Glamour Lipstick in the shade "Naked" - The consistency of the lipstick is certainly luxurious feeling. It left my lips feeling really moisturised, which for me, is important with a lipstick. The colour I thought, was great for making my teeth look whiter (always a bonus!).

Magnifibres Brush-on False Lashes - The concept of this is great. You apply mascara as usual, then apply the brush-on. The little fibres stick to the mascara, so when you add another coat of mascara, the lashes appear longer and thicker, just like your favourite falsies. I only usually apply false lashes for 'big' nights out, but I don't think it would replace those dramatic lashes. For every day wear though, you do feel like you have nice big, volumised, sexy lashes. Here is the link to their website http://www.magnifibres.com/ to check it out for all the details :)

Grabtree & Evelyn nail lacquer in the shade "Apple" - This is brilliant. I only needed to apply one coat and I was good to go. It is also really fast drying (lucky as I was in a hurry to go out!). It is so shiny and has a gelly shine finish (I'm a huge fan of Barry M). It's fairly long lasting as I applied it Saturday (it's now Monday) and it's still fairly in tact (just a few chips at the end on my right index and middle finger). It is a really lovely vibrant red, but for that reason, I think I prefer it just on my toes.

Rimmel Sun Shimmer BB Cream - This is a nice consistency and it feels nice on the skin. It doesn't have an offensive strong smell, like some instant tan creams can have. It also doesn't have that awful tell-tale sparkle, so it looks nice and natural. It give a lovely instant tan look, which I loved! It was literally a case of apply and ready to go. The only negative for me is that it doesn't contain SPF, as that is something I always look for in a BB Cream.

Velvotan Tanning Mitt - I haven't used this yet, as I haven't applied all over fake tan, but I am looking forward to giving it a go.

Bourjois Cream Blush in the shade "Nude Velvet" - This has a lovely creamy consistency and it is great as it comes with a little mirror for on the go touch-ups.  I love it - can't say anymore.

Toni & Guy Volume Plumping Whip - I used to have quite thick hair, which seems to have got thinner as I have got older (meh). So, I am really looking forward to trying this properly, as I just gave it a quick go before a night out, but my hair did feel more voluminous.

Hawaiian Tropic Sun Lotion - At 100ml, this perfect little handbag sized sun cream. I was only thinking the other day I need to pop to Boots to buy a mini bottle (since then the sun has unfortunately disappeared!). It has that holiday coconut smell, which I am not too keen on, but it is SPF factor 30, so I am very pleased with this.
*I bought this box myself and all opinions are my own

Together I thought the products all go really well together. This is definitely the best box I've tried so far.

Has anyone else tried the box? What did you think?
